REFORMED
What we teach is grounded not in cultural trends or
human opinion, but in the unchanging truth of God’s
Word. When Scripture is handled with humility,
faithfulness, and conviction, the church becomes a
place where God’s grace is encountered, the
redemptive work of Christ is central, and the gospel is
joyfully proclaimed—for his glory.
Our theological roots run deep into the Protestant
Reformation of the 16th century—a movement that
called the church back to the Bible as the final and
sufficient authority for faith and life. This legacy
continues to shape our identity and mission today.
We uphold the foundational truths recovered in the
Reformation: Scripture alone is our authority;
salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in
Christ alone; and in all things, we exist for the glory of
God alone.
EVANGELICAL
We are firmly convinced that Jesus Christ is God’s full
and final revelation to humanity. As Hebrews 1:1–4
makes clear, God has spoken in many ways
throughout history, but in these last days, He has
spoken to us by His Son. There is no greater word to
expect from God than the person and work of Jesus.
Because of Jesus’ own teaching and testimony, we
believe the entire Bible ultimately points to Him.
From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals the
unfolding story of God’s redemptive plan, fulfilled in
the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. This shapes
how we read the Bible—not as a collection of
disconnected moral lessons, but as one unified
narrative centered on Jesus.
As such, we uphold the Bible as our highest authority
in all matters of faith and life. For nearly two
thousand years, this commitment has marked faithful
Christian witness across the world. To submit to the
Bible is, in essence, to submit to the Lordship of
Christ—trusting His Word above all other voices,
traditions, or cultural trends.
In all things, we seek to be a Christ-centered,
Scripture-submitting people, shaped by the truth of
God’s Word and the grace of the gospel.
ANGLICAN
To identify as both Anglican and Reformed may seem
redundant to some, as these terms have historically
been closely aligned. The Anglican tradition itself was
born out of the Protestant Reformation in
England—an English expression of the broader
Reformation movement sweeping across Europe.
By calling ourselves Anglican, we affirm our
connection to this rich theological heritage. We hold
to the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion as a faithful and
concise summary of the essential truths taught in
Scripture. These historic doctrines continue to guide
our beliefs and shape our ministry today.
At Gospel Central Church, we are committed to the
authority of the Bible, the historic and orthodox
teaching of the Christian faith, and the unchanging
truth of God’s Word. We aim to live under the
Lordship of Christ, grounded in grace and shaped by
Scripture.
And while our convictions are firm, our welcome is
wide. Whether you are exploring the Christian faith or
looking for a church home, you are warmly invited to
join us at Gospel Central Church.
